Summer Party 2023

As a sign of appreciation for our employees and their families and to strengthen the sense of togetherness, the BBGS units in Germany, Belgium, Italy and Poland held their summer corporate events. The programs ranged from art and culture to sports and relaxation. Common to all events was the shared experience outside the daily work routine and the strengthening of team spirit.

In Germany, the management invited employees and their families to a summer party at Lake Gelterswoog near Kaiserslautern. In perfect weather, the German team came together for refreshing drinks, canoeing on the lake and good conversations in a relaxed atmosphere. The children could let off steam on the adjacent playground or cool off in the lake. People celebrated and laughed together until late in the evening.

In Mechelen near Brussels, Belgium, the team spent a successful two-day summer event in July. A virtual scavenger hunt fostered team spirit and sent employees on a journey of discovery through the city in small teams. The day ended with a dinner of Belgian culinary specialties and many pleasant conversations with colleagues and their families. The next day started after breakfast with a visit to a garden show, where the corporate logo was hoisted as part of a team event.

In Italy, the summer party was all about art, culture and community: Together we visited Catajo Castle in the province of Padua, surrounded by the Euganean Hills in the thermal area. The castle is one of the most majestic historical buildings in Europe. With a guided tour, the BBGS employees from Italy immersed in the history of the structure and admired the art and the unique garden. At lunch, they enjoyed the conviviality, Venetian cuisine and good wine in a wonderful atmosphere.

The BBGS unit in Poland spent their summer company event in a sporty way: together with the employees' families, tennis and badminton were on the day's agenda. In an exciting singles and doubles tournament, a lot of fun was witnessed, as well as sporting ambition. In the evening during a barbecue, everybody discussed not only the speed and the precission of the balls hit across the net, but also ongoing projects and common interests.
