Runway repair

Ramstein Air Base near Kaiserslautern is the headquarters of the U.S. Air Force and Allied Air Command Ramstein, a NATO Air Force Command.

Constant cargo plane traffic – take-offs and landings – means that maintenance and repair work is needed on an ongoing basis. BBGS is the reliable partner for this work.

Since the air traffic may never be interrupted, repair work along the runways and aprons (where the planes park) must be coordinated down to the last detail. Our workers on the airfield maintain constant radio contact with the tower. Some of our work is coordinated with air traffic control right to the minute. It is a task requiring a lot of trust and precise timing – a job for BBGS.
